yongbin
Hi all. When you see a motion blur menu on Geometry's instance tab, there are two selection types. Compute sub frame and point velocity. Can I add them? I have sequence of geometry of a bat. The bat flaps it's wing. So i need sub frame motion blur. But when instancing it to moving particles, I need point velocity, too. So i want add there velocity. Is there a way? Thank you.
lukeiamyourfather
I think the point velocity option means it will use the velocity attribute on any and all points. Just make sure that the animated bat has velocity per point in the cache. If it doesn't already then use a trail SOP with the mode set to calculate velocity and write out the cache again.
