I've been using the PLE version of houdini on my laptop for more than 1 yr., and for some reason had to do factory recovery, and now I'm getting this error : 912: Fatal error: Segmentation Fault I've updated my windows(it's a shitty vista, but houdini was working on the very same system!), and installed sp1 and sp2! any ideas? thoughts?! edward Posted May 30, 2011 Share Posted May 30, 2011 Definitely make sure that you're *completely* up to date. Try the latest H11 daily biuld. When does it happen? What does the crashlog say? What does the crashlog say? Which video card and video driver version? My houdini is the latest version, I just downloaded the PLE version from sidefx website. My video card is NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600, and its driver is NVIDIA, version 7.15.10.9754! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
