smaugthewyrm Posted July 1, 2011 Share Posted July 1, 2011 (edited) sometimes in an extruded curve, at render, the face / sides can show gaps or seams. i suppose 'coving' may not be the correct word to describe this, but sometimes the only solution is a good mesh. in the attached hip file, i've extruded a font and applied a craaazy amount of displacement. the sides now do not separate thanks to a damn little checkbox i've always overlooked in the extrude sop. i hope this hip file helps someone. cheers! covingtest.hip Edited July 1, 2011 by smaugthewyrm Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
