LaidlawFX
Happy Evening, Does anybody have an idea what the nearest equivalent in houdini of eccentricity is on a maya blinn... I could spend some time to test, but I'm hoping some one else has tested this. I'm thinking it may be a cross of roughness, sharpness, or highlight angle. Maya, or some other person defines eccentricity as; Eccentricity The width of the highlight, simulating how polished or rough the surface appears. The rest of the spec controls Specular Roll Off The brightness/intensity of the highlight. = a multiplier Specular Color The color of the highlight; usually set to white or a gray value. = a tint THANKS!!!! I would say the "Specular Angle" attribute is what you are looking for. That's what I have been using as eccentricity ( I came from Maya as well)
