miguel m
This is what I've come out for now but i think it's usable. There is Add, Subtract ,Difference ,Multiply ,Divide ,Screen ,Lighten ,Darken ,Overlay and Hardlight modes. Here is the little help that comes with the op, although it's fairly simple to use I think: Image Blender v1Image Blender provides various types of blendsthat try to mimic those of Adobe Photoshop.Input 0: the background image.Input 1: the foreground (FG) image.Input 2: an optional mask (see below).Parameters:Blend mode:
Jason
This is great! Thank you - although I haven't installed it. Perhaps you could look at Exporting an optype (in 5.5) for us? Thanks again miguel, J

miguel m
Thanks to Jason for the suggestions and because in the first place it whas his idea to make this operator. Thank you (better late than never, sorry...) Changes. - I've made the op into an .optype file. So it's a lot easier to install ( File > Install Op Type ). - Added an icon for easy identification (and because it's fancy, what the heck ) - Got the standard COP2 mask menus to work ok so i removed the custom ones. - The Transparency paramenter still doesn't work with the Overlay and Hardlight modes. However, you can somewhat workaround this by plugging a mask and inserting a brightness cop in the middle. That's it. Thanks Dante for the tip. The help menu in "Export Type..." got me running fine. newer version
