magneto
I have a point cloud and I changed their point colors (CD) and I know if there is a curve or a surface, I can see the colors but with just points, I see the default blue color. Is there a way to view point colors on them? THanks
symek
You're quite an inquisitive mate, aren't you? . Nice to see so much interest. To make a colored points in viewport, you need to add a particle system to the stream: AddSOP->Add Particle System. This causes Houdini to treat points in geometry as particles. cheers, and happy New Yea
magneto
Thanks man, I love Houdini so much, not because it has feature A or B, but the way it works really suits my thought process. I am actually sorry for not discovering it sooner. I want to learn it asap It worked awesome. Thanks. Happy new year to you too and to all Houdini enthusiasts out there, hope it brings us the best of things in life.
