Sand ..

Hi all!

I've few qausion for the sand … i try to create some sanding …

…… but it's not good. before I tried Maya it's very simple, … I think the particle fly away little by little with the Model Tube disappearing …. Which way is good ? What can i do it?

I create Some Erosion ... But it's Not good. I don't know this correct or... < I don't know how to create particle.

Anyone have other Idea?

That's a nice model. When you say erosion, what do you mean? Do you want geo erosion or shader erosion? What are you trying to use the particles for?

I think that particle like sand. How can i get the particle erosion after the model. the particle little by little fly out the Sand like sandman …. i'm style trying to that but it's not worked .. please help me.. thanks all.

An idea: Turn your object into an sdf and shrink it. Emit particles from those erosion sites.

SDF creation for complex shapes can be very difficult and resource intensive though.

Another erosion technique could be to displace along normals, recalculate normals, displace again, etc. You can do that with a foreach node.

With the sdf you get the advantage of getting a free collision geo, if that is important.
