xpc
Hello, I just set up a basic dynamic simulation using dops and pops. I would like to instance random objects (from a voronoi fracture) to the particles and set up a random rotation based on the velocities of the particles ( if a particle doesn't move, the rotation is stopped ). I used to do that in Maya but I would like to know how to do that inside Houdini. Any help will be much appreciated ! Thanks, Xavier debrisParticlesInstance.hipnc

xpc
That is very useful, thank you very much Benyee. But the rotation doesn't seems to stop when the particles' velocity is zero. Any ideas ? Thanks, Xavier
Erik_JE
There is a shelf tool for this: http://www.sidefx.com/docs/houdini12.0/shelf/debris
