csp
Hi, I am working on a tool for eficient and realistic debris and dust on impact and fracturing. I allready know few ways to achieve each one of these effects on Houdini but I would like to build a more advance tool and I am looking for Siggraph techical papers on this. It seems there are not many papers on this area, even fewer fro computer graphics and none from Siggaph. so far I have found and read: Integrating Mesh and Meshfree Methods for Physics-Based Fracture and Debris Cloud Simulation. A fast method for simulating destruction and the generated dustand debris SPH simulation of debris impacts using two different computer codes Does onyone knows any paper or research on these areas? Is there any online way to search all past techical paper on Siggraph? Edited March 6, 2012 by cparliaros
Erik_JE
If your school gives you access to ACM Portal it's a great place to search for papers. Google Scholar with the right search terms also finds a lot.
