steveJB
Hi all! Iv created some bubbles which will be rendered at quite a distance and would like to give them a nice sparkle as they tumble around. I have a great deal of small bubbles being birthed from a underwater torpedo so they dance around for maybe 50 frames before rising. Does anyone have ant Vex tips to give it a sparkle - i dont want to use ray-tracing as it will take too long! Any ideas would be a great help!!!! steve

steveJB
Thats a point..il give it try! I think i may have found a way of animating a displacement to give a nice sparkle?? If that doesn't work or takes a while...il try good old cops!! thanks a lot! steve
tallkien
Ouch! Displacements might take long too, unless you use stamped instances. If you render just your particles with P and N deep rasters you can do a lot of nifty stuff in post. Animate the luminance of the particles and use that as a trigger to randomize sparkle generation or as masks for glows. Just an idea
