fxjungle
Hi, maybe this is a simple fix but I haven't been able to solve this problem. When I change the creation frame on my fluid, the resize stops working, I am sure it has something to do with the sop solver down there, but I was used to a more simple approach, with a sopsolver and gas resize fluid scattering based on density, this new one will take me some time to figure out, and I am kinda in a rush. Is there a way to solve this problem? or do I need to rebuild a more simple resize sop solver? Thanks guys for any help
Benyee
You can try turning off "Clamp to maxium size" or adjusting the "delay frame";
bhaveshpandey
you'll have to set your delay frame (on the resize dop) to your creation frame.
fxjungle
Thanks guys for the quick reply, but I had already tried both of those options to no result... I should have mentioned that before, sorry. Basically if you dive into the resize dynamic node, into the sop solver, what happens is that on the creation frame it builds the network and then fails for some weird reason. I am now even considering if downloading the latest build might fix this issue. well, will hopefully come back with the solution... unless someone else has had this problem and can point me in the right direction
pclaes
We have had this problem too on negative frames for preroll. We made our own resizing container based on the scattering points (or convert volume with lower detail) and a tracking bounding box (for the source). Those are the most important, but yes, it would be nice to get this fixed.

On a note, I did take some time and dove into the sop solver in the gas resize fluid dynamic, and half way in the middle of the chain the bounding box is working, it looks like it gets messed up on the part where the vex networks are trying to take into account the max bounds... I might be wrong as I am not that skilled at Houdini yet. Thanks
