ioscat
Hello. I've got point selection by GROUP node with bounding object. I want to apply POLYEXTRUDE to the selection, but I need first to get polygon selection. Does anybody know the solution?
ioscat
And in addition one more question: Is it possible to get selected some node selection? For example if I need to make more operations with same objects.
sly
in the group node in the edit tab , you can convert point to primitive group , for the second question , i don't really understood what you mean Edited May 12, 2012 by sly

sly
for an extrude node you can output some others group , so for next operations ,you can use the front faces for example Edited May 12, 2012 by sly
Annon
Ioscat, I believe you are still thinking along the lines of maya, where you select some faces, hit extrude, select some other faces, hit extrude etc... Houdini isn't really like that, you make groups with expressions or however you want, then use those groups to control what another node does, in your case polyExtrude. Middle click on the node and you can see what groups they contain, that's how you "reselect" them.
