nomad
Hello everyone! I have some troubles with houdini 12 It seems that display of ponits/normals doesn't work properly. Here i present the screenshot out from houdini 11 , where everything is ok. And the second the screenshot out from houdini 12 (the same configuration). I try to switch on the visualization of points (, number of points, normals, etc) , but nothing changes. Do I miss something?
Annon
Yeah I've had some issues in H12 with the display. Go to Houdini Preferences>3D Viewports>Scene Renderer and change which one you use. GL3x seems to have the best features, but H11 seems to be more reliable although slower.
Guest mantragora
I got similar problem but with primitive normals. Even with simple sphere they look like on attached picture.
crin
Sometimes they'll show up if you have a different node selected than your display node. But switching to h11 viewport is probably the best answer.

malexander
Having Scene AA on with Nvidia drivers close to the minimum recommended version (256) seems to cause this problem. You can either upgrade the driver to a more recent version (290 or 295 series), or turn scene AA off.
