Netvudu Posted June 13, 2012 Share Posted June 13, 2012 (edited) If you are wondering about the flying pieces and parts, obviously you need rigid bodies, either Bullet or RBD. If the Bullet solver works, use it as it will be faster. Any RBD Glue Object should work. You could try dynamic fracturing, but only if your object isn´t too complex. Otherwise sim time might be painful. Now, you might consider cloth dynamics for deforming metal. It´s quite common and a good approach for it.
