Does VEX compute values that do not change only once?

Hi,

When you have some VEX code that calculates a value based on values/parameters that do not change, does VEX optimize these to only be calculated once?

Say you have something like this:

vector getCenter()
{
    vector min, max;
    getbbox(min, max);
    return (min+max)/2;
}

and you use this inside your VEX code, would VEX only call this function once and store/cache the result since the value will never change?
