group age attribute?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Is there a way to get a group-related age?

Let say , if $VX > 10 is group expression and once the particle is in the group age starts at 0 again or some fake age attributes that grows like age but it starts as the particle is in the group?

So, as it added to the group , there is an attribute creation like age but from 0.

No, there isn't by default. You have to add those attributes yourself, so when X happens, a point attribute stamps the frame number down. Then you can then reference that point attribute with local variable.
