malexander
Whenever I put a light in my scene and Enable Spot Light my objects dissapear, when I uncheck "enable spot light" and check again houdini crashes, my video card is gtx 580 3GB with latest drivers and I'm using high quality lighting. This issue was fixed in 12.1.138. What file format are you trying to load? Also, make sure you are not in "Manual" update mode (lower-right corner). Vardan Petrosyan
I'll download the 12.1.138 to see if my lights work thanks I'm trying to import an OBJ file, I'm watching a video tutorial and trying to import the file provided with the tutorial, doing exactly like the mentor does, but it doesn't work

symek
It's hard to help you without providing any details/hip file. Common problem with importing geometry (specially with '+' key) is a trailing digit in a file name, which will be (erroneously*) collapsed into $F, so the path is expanded to file[whatever_frame_on_timebar].obj instead of mybox1.obj. You can fix it by manually removing $F from a path name. Other than that, obj should import nicely good luck! skk. * this, along with a collapse all digits sequence in a file name, instead of only last one (before dot followed by extension), is a long standing issue in Houdini.
