magneto
Hi, I revolved a NURBS line to make a simple shape where I projected another curve on it using Project, and trimmed it. Then I used Peak on the result and merged them together. But how would I cap the hole between them at the top using the trim/profile curves from each? I extracted the profile curve from each but they are much more dense than the surface being cut. So even if I skin these extracted shapes, they won't be fused with the original surface. Is there a way to just cap these profile curves from the surface without extracting? It seems like even for trims Houdini doesn't bake things down like it does when you extract the profile curves. Also Skin and Stitch doesn't recognize the profile curves. Here is the picture: Thanks Edited January 4, 2013 by magneto
magneto
Also in case that was unclear, I meant creating a surface for this part: So not capping the whole top but the gap in between
anim
it looks like you need Bridge SOP and specify profiles in Group parm have a look at example on Bridge SOP help page for reference
