johnLIC
I have some files from a class I took last July. I fired up houdini yesterday for the first time in a while, and had to reinstall the apprentice license. It probably updated the version of Houdini, too, I wasn't watching too closely. Anyway, now those files are crashing houdini like crazy. Any time I double click on a node, I get a seg fault. Does anyone know what's going on? how to fix it? ...and, it's stopped happening. I was going to upload an example file. OK, here's one it saved out while crashing... I'm on Windows 7, btw. thanks! johnp.900.hip
amination
I've checked your file and animated, saved it, even driven the rocks by bullet and nothing happened. It worked just fine for me without a single delay or crash. I'm using H12, and Windows 7 too. I had a similar problem as yours before and all I did was reinstalling the Houdini, which it fixed the problem. That's my only suggestion, hope it helps. johnLIC
Hi - thanks. I guess I should reinstall. The price is right, huh? I'm trying to follow some tutorial and I can't make a colorMix node. I think my install must be flawed.
