fragmentzero
Hello, Is this setup valid/possible inside DOP? Basically I want to animate impulse value multiple times between fixed set of values. But when tweaking those values I have to shift all keys in channel editor. It would be nice if I can put them in some predefined place and then just use switcher to choose. Thanks
anim
not in that way, but you can use switcher to switch among forces and then use Apply Data DOP to apply it to object but better way would be to use CHOPs to switch/manipulate the values the way you want and export directly to your force
fragmentzero
Hi Tomas, CHOPs way would be better as I want to keep the same force. Being a beginner, I will have to learn about CHOPs first before asking further. But good to know that there is such way. Thanks for the direction, I'll look it up. bloomendale
Why not using switch dop like in TS example? I rarely use it and just curious. Some drawbacks? Thanks in advance. 3ak_switch_dop.hipnc
anim
that's different, you are switching among noises which is accepted input for impulse force vishangshah was using some value node probably switch value or whatever to alter magnitude of the force, which will not work in a way he thinks
fragmentzero
Yeah, I tried to play with bloomendale's file but that's not what I am intending. I thought of using Mask field as multiplier to force value but it's not elegant and also introducing new unnecessary values (not sure even if it will work in first place).
