Cuckon
Hi all, I am trying setting my Deadline up, and now I have a problem to get the right rendered result.. I put my otls in to a folder "X:/otls", and set the HOUDINI_OTLSCAN_PATH variable to "X:/otls" in houdini.env, when using "render" in hbatch.exe , evething is right, otls behave just like expected. But when start the render using deadline, I can still get a result but the otls behave like in "bypass" mode. Anyone has this problem or know how to deal with it? Cuckon
Since the deadline use hython in essence, I did a test in hython. The result says hython does load my otls and I can instance them correctly. So that's the problem, the otl is loaded, the otl can be created, then why I cannot get a render result with the otl correctly "exist"? Cuckon
SORRY, I made a terribly stupid mistake.. I think I have changed all the houdini.env however in fact I leave all the rest but the first machine unchanged... It wasted me so much time to find out this stupid mistake.. edward
FWIW, I feel for you. Also, if anything, computers are always huge time wasters.
