DELTAadmin
Good morning Houdini users Could u help me? I'd like to paint my models in a 3d paint package (BodyPaint 3D, or DeepPaint 3D), how to do the connection between these apps and Houdini? Thanx
Mcronin
There is no plugin connection like with other apps, however, you can easily export your object as an OBJ, it will retain one set of UV coordinates (the first set) per vertex. Then, just load the OBJ in your paint package, apply a material and texture, and paint. To export to obj, just right click on a sop and select "Save Geometry" or use a Geometry ROP. If you need more than one set of UV coordinates, just export mulitple obj's, each containing a set of UV coordinates.

DELTAadmin
The method u mentioned works hand in hand between Houdini and MAxon's BodyPAint v. 2.
MG
There used to be an Amazon Paint ROP... I think they took it out after Houdini 5.0.
