csp
I have a surface where points have been scattered uniformly and I would like to distribute the pscale in a random function but the sum of them will not overcome the area of the surface including a gap between them. (pscale_sum + gap) <= area_sum [/CODE] Any ideas? Edited June 9, 2013 by cparliaros
kleer001
Interesting problem. What's the effect you're going to use it for? My first impulse is to use those points and create a voronoi break up of the surface then use the pieces to control the pscale. What's probably easier is to use the scatter's compute nearest 2 neighbors and then divide that by 2 for the pscale.
