iwilson2 Posted July 13, 2013 Share Posted July 13, 2013 Hey guys! So I'm working on a shot for my reel but i'm having trouble controlling the fractures for this. If you look in the file, visual the fractures in the voronoi fracture node- thats the way I would like to fracture the geometry. I would like the smaller pieces to explode outwards and have the large upper half fall to the ground before it collapses again. The issue I'm having is that when I make the object breakable and copy all of the parameters from the voronoi points and voronoi fracture nodes to the fracture parm node, the geometry still doesn't fracture the same. hanton Posted July 14, 2013 Share Posted July 14, 2013 Hi iwilson2, you can select the voronoi fracture node and hit the self tool "Rigid Bodies -> RBD Fracture Object". Then, it will collapse exactly what your visual voronio fracture node looks like. Scratch Posted July 15, 2013 Share Posted July 15, 2013 You also might want to take a look at 2 other tutorials There is a voronoi tutorial of digital tutors, and one called ambers and ashes over at cmi-vfx.
