daehuck
Hi guys, I made a particle tornado and add some volume. But Its smoke's movement looks very calm. So I add some custom velocity from sop. But it is still same. Smoke looks static my custom velocity field doesn't make effect. I add my hip file. Please check.what is wrong. Any comments will be help for me. 20130912_pointcloud_tornado_volume.hip Edited September 14, 2013 by daehuck
yongbin
Hi, it seems you are korean, so i want use korean... you are using volume node before export it. It will make empty velocity field. just delete it will be work. but your two fluid source(original + noise?) are look same, I don't know what is different. So try check it. yongbin
I am not able to use korean now. And I think it will be better talk in houdinist(maybe you know the site) if we want to use korean. I checked your velocity field. And it is there. So it's not because you don't have velocity. Maybe transfer velocity directly from particles is not a good way for this effect. So try other ways. you can make velocity field same way you did for particles. Or you can make force directly in dop. Hope it would help. 20130912_pointcloud_tornado_volume.make_field.hipnc
