uvs_to_cops

is there any way to bring an object's uv's into halo

as an image (like the geometry cop, but with uv as well

as x, y, z views)?

The best I can think of right now is to right-click on the SOP and say Save Texture Image ....

easy workaround, but it needlessly

creates a file dependency. also grabbing

animated uv's could be a problem.

Transform the object's point position to it's uv position so that the actual geometry is laid out like it's uvs. Next, place an orthographic camera in the appropriate position and create an OpenGL output driver set to wireframe. Pump that result through a render COP and you should get what you're looking for.
