Waasha
Hello everyone! Can anyone please compile a win64 version of the real flow exporter for H12.5? I searched in a lot of places, but I found only this thread: which links to here: http://www.digitalcinemaarts.com/software/real-flow-plugins/ but after downloading all the files, there is no exporter (compiled), or no instalator, nothing.. I also found this help file, but I cannot find the files it's reffering to: http://thevault.realflow.com/tutoriales/pdf/realflow-houdini-conectivity.pdf Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!
Nightwave
You will have to buy Reaflow and gain access into their download area. Once there they have all the importers and exporters for different software packages. http://www.realflow.com/download/download_area/
Whatsinaname
If I remember correctly. there is no need for buying it. The Demo license should already give you access to the connectivity plugins.
thestuntman
Plugins don't seem to work with Houdini 13.0.288 (the version they are made for according to NextLimit). The Houdini RF shelf shows all the buttons as "<undefined>" and none of them work, throwing errors about not being able to find certain tools. Also, none of the SOP\ROP nodes are able to be placed. It's as if Houdini is not loading them at all
H2O
Are you sure about your RF plugin version? Because it works perfectly with H13.0.288 for me.
edward
It was mentioned in the sidefx forums that you need to install the VC9 build of Houdini for the RF plugins to work.
thestuntman
I found that post. Works great now....If only RF 2013 Hybrido had viscosity though
edward
Well, you already have a full fluid system in your hands
reny
Yeah, I feel Houdini is way more "tweakable" than roll a dice simulation. But RF does have it's good use, for stuff that you can do, it does the job pretty well with less setup time.
thestuntman
I've just been testing the demo to see what it can do. Since Hybrido 2 does not support viscosity and lots of other things that Hybrido 1 did, I will be giving it a miss anyway
