Sankar Kumar
Hi Guys, I need to create some models looks like the attached images. I don't know how to separate the texts (Based on spacing or Bounding Box) while copy stamp or any appropriate method. Also need to know the expression to rotate the stamps only at specific angles (45,90,180) Need help.. Thanks in advance... edward
Isn't that just some texture mapped geometry?
freaq
if it needs to be 3D you can use a creep sop to "bend the text" into the shapes
Sankar Kumar
Thanks for quick response.. I planned to create it based on a "base 3D geometry" which is filled with "Texts" (using copy sop) the texts should bend on curvatures of the base geometry. Any simple example or suggestion would be nice Edited February 2, 2014 by sankarakumar
freaq
so the creep sop bends things along a nurb mesh, it will follow the curvature. so if you take a model, convert every face to a nurbthen you have to make sure thye all get bent (easiest method is subdivide the original mesh and project the points (2 ray sops positive and negative normal )then create a system to create your words, and fit it into a 1-1 square.then do a for loop, and creep a piece of text on every nurbs surface.it will bend the text onto the surface, and it will make sure it fits snugly onto the quad.and then you have your scene
