-HEAVY-
Hey =)at the moment i am modifing a GlueNetwork at SOP Level and deleting more and more parts of the network via Group and a scaling Bounding Box. That works good so far and give me a lot of controll over the destruction but cause the glue_fractured_import SOP is locally so it doesnt go with the RBD motion in the DOP network. So what is the way to go for a setup where for example the glued object is falling through an imaginary plane or an static object that deletes the network ? cheerzde -HEAVY-
rayman
Connect Sop Solver to glue network inside dops. This will give you dynamic constraint network. If you use shelf tools to create gluenet Sop solver is created by default.
-HEAVY-
do you have a explanatory file so we talk about the same when we mean "dynamic" - cause i create glue Network with shelf - and i have now dynamic update while the pieces are falling:ok i have a scenen here to demonstrate.Basic glue network - fractures are falling - but what i want is that while the pieces are falling through secondary_area (at Fr.30) the glue network updates and deletes the connections hitting that area...?!hopefully that makes sense...thx de Heavy Heavy_GLUE_Test.hipnc Edited February 10, 2014 by -HEAVY-
-HEAVY-
ok i put together a smaller example...as you can see the bricks are falling but the glue does not update. The technic is based on the Bullet Masterclass by Jeff Wagner- but he used some older build with different Glue Network so his example files update fine with falling pieces. but when i Import my geo in his setup the glue network changes from frame 1 to 2 significantly and is not scalable to bigger Networks. and please dont tell me to change override with sops - if it would be that sinple i have had found it today so please please somebody tell me what´s wrong ! thx de Heavy
