mbdunaway
Hey folks, I've got a little problem with my UVs. I have created a model in Houdini that has procedural animation setup in the extrudes. I am then exporting the model and setting up the UVs in another package and bringing that model back in and then copying the UVs to the original. Reason for this is that I want to keep control of the animation. The problem is that while the UVs copy correctly, AttribCopy isn't recognizing the cut seams which is giving me overlapping UVs.Any way to fix this? SpencerL
make sure your uvs are a vertex attribute and not a point attribute
abvfx
I had this problem a few times with Zbrush and its pointgroups (Zbrush messes with models they have them). If your model is identical to the one you exported and did the UVs, apply a "matchtopology" sop. Then do an attributecopy and it should work fine. mbdunaway
Yeah, it was coming out scrambled when I did vertex attribute instead of point, but the match topography sop fixed it.Thanks all!
