magneto
Hi, I searched the forums but found nothing. Basically something like the histogram in Photoshop: http://www.photoshopessentials.com/photo-editing/histogram/ I don't mean just using it though because I know it exists as a tool but accessing it programmatically so you can perform some operations using that. malexander
It's built into the viewer. The hotkey is Ctrl+3, or you can click the third icon in the first buttonstrip in the top toolbar. It's also accessible in the IPR view and MPlay. It's view-only, however.
magneto
Thanks alot Mark, exactly what I want, except like you said I want to query values from it like getting the mean color, high and low colors, etc to use for automatic color corrections. Do you know if it would be unreasonable for someone to implement it in VEX? I assume it would be a generator COP and create a single image for the histogram values which could then be queried by other COPs that need the histogram data.
