Rendering Fluids in a glass container

Hi, I'm simulating a glass with red wine shattering on the ground. The first question is that when I pre fracture the glass with voronoi it only keeps the liquid inside if I use rbd glue object in dopnetwork however if i use rbdfractured the liquid starts to penetrate the glass as well as breaking apart when falling. The effect of the pieces breaking works better with the rbdfractured. Is there a simple way of keeping these pieces glue and able to contain the fluid inside until it shatters on the ground? I'm also wondering if i could render the glass separate from the liquid and what would be the set up for the mantra ? or do I need to have them both ready to render together in order to get all the reflections from each other?

You could try animating the glue strength parameter from -1 to 0 when the you want the glass to shatter.

You might also consider looking into glue constraint networks.

You can certainly render the liquid and glass separately, but if you want to refract the liquid you'll need to set render the liquid with the glass as a phantom object.
