renaming attributes

Hi, all! I'm trying to pass the color and alpha of my particle system into sops so that it renders with Cd and Alpha values. I know that I rename Cd to diff. What do I rename Alpha to? Thanks!

Alpha should be fine if the shader supports it by name. Mapping to diff means no color tweaking though, depending on the shader.

If you use a shader that directly accepts Cd and Alpha then you don't have to remap them at all. VEX Super Material is one of those shaders so try that one. Not all shaders supplied in Houdini import Cd and Alpha.
