Diego A Grimaldi
Hey everybody, I've been looking all over without any success. I'm trying to render objects with additive transparency and I can't figure out how to do it. It seems fairly simple for particles, but not as easy with geo. I need to render several textured objects on top of each with additive transparency. I've attached a screen shot of what I'm trying to do, but using Houdini instead of Max. In Max this is stupidly simple so I feel like I'm overlooking something. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Pazuzu
You need to use a constant color value for the opacity say for example 0.1, but don't premultiply the difuse or constant color with it. Look at the example file! Cheers! additiveOpacity.hip Edited July 24, 2014 by Pazuzu
