Whatsinaname
For something like a wetmap effect I need to write an object's color information to a texture map, based on the object's UVs. Unfortunately, I have no clue how that works, so any suggestions are more than welcome. In order to illustrate the problem a bit, I attached my file so you can probably see what I am about to. ...the reason for doing so is the texture will be used in a different 3d application. colTex_test.hipnc
kleer001
I too am interested in this. I tried a few futile ways, but ended up with a mess. I think you'd be writing out an image in COPS, but beyond that I'm lost.

Shinjipierre
You can render that using UV render object in mantra ROP (properties/render), it'll render a UV based texture
SaleVonGeist
Thanks for the tip Remi, it works nicely. Found few other threads on this topic, and one important thing is to make sure that UVs are applied as vertex attributes.
