jonp
Two quick ones: - Does the 3D viewport take advantage of double-float precision support in professional graphics cards? This may not even be a valid question, as I don't really know what the extra 64 bit support in Quadros actually entails. - And a long shot: 10bit color support? This would require another set of vertex shaders that use dmat# and dvec#, in addition to the single-precision mat/vec versions that are currently there. (Consumer cards also usually have FP64 support, but it's generally so crippled as to be useless - 1/4 to 1/32 FP32 rates). - And a long shot: 10bit color support? I believe if you have a 10b monitor, 10b GPU and have the OS configured for 10b display, Houdini will use 10b visuals.
