Whatsinaname
Using H13 with GL3.3, sometimes objects are not rendered correctly in the viewport, sometimes they are not rendered at all, sometimes it helps changing to wireframe. This is very irritating. If I change to GL2.1, the objects appear (at least in wireframe mode) but then my Houdini crashes. I'm using a GeForce 560Ti and a driver update didn't help anything. Is there a maybe a trick or a hack that helps with this problem?
kgoossens
Try adding "HOUDINI_OGL_H11_VIEWPORT = 1" in your environment variables If that doesn't work you can try "HOUDINI_OGL_SOFTWARE=1" But this only works in windows.
Whatsinaname
That didn't seem to help anything, just made it worse. The issue is also on another computer with a GTX680 showing similar issues. The geo is imported from an Alembic node, a relatively complex model. Shaded display doesn't show anything, sometimes wireframe works, the only thing that always works is displaying point numbers.
Guest tar
This is very irritating. Please provide us something to test with!
Georgie
In my experience, using Nvidia drivers beyond 340.52 is basically asking for trouble. I'll probably update once H14 is released but I'm sticking with those for the time being
