How to use solver to deform an animated object?

Hi,

 

can't get the solver to do the right thing, so that the deformation is taking the rotations into account.

Once the ball in the example scene is starting to rotate, you can see that the deformation is added in worldspace. How do you apply the deformation? Is there maybe an example out there?
