Guest tar Posted March 13, 2015 Share Posted March 13, 2015 It will depend on the market and your skill level - as was said recently, if you have a Phd in Engineering and can use the Houdini HDK you stand above 90% of everyone else. The Remote market is similar but you are running your own Mega-Corp, as most artists like to believe, in general you just need to produce imagery and the client will not care is you use Blender, Houdini, or the dog as your toolset to create the work.
