Guest mantragora
Hi. One word. Crap. That's all I can say. Just watch those videos. So, you have to save it, evaluate it to f*cking Maxscript and then it works. Very slow. But yeah, almost like Houdini. Almost. Netvudu
The Push limited modifier is interesting. Is it doing some sort of ray of geometry? It should be replicable in SOPs/VOPs
Mandrake0
thanks for the video link..... so this effort to develop a node system has proven that it's possible to create such a system in one year. but sadly it lacks a lot of interaction and smartness, there are missing small optimizations for the artist to use it in production so the next years it will show what it can do in production at the moment it's just.......(word less). magneto
Is that multi threaded? AFAIK max sdk is not multi threaded even for things like modifiers that work on points. There is also Lab and Genome: https://ephere.com/plugins/autodesk/max/lab/ http://www.thinkboxsoftware.com/genome/
Guest mantragora
If anyone is brave enough, you can grab MCG samples, install 3dsmax trial and test it => http://area.autodesk.com/blogs/chris/max-creation-graph-mcg-sample-pack-for-3ds-max-2016 BTW. Anyone knows title of the song used in Sample Pack Demo video? Edited April 17, 2015 by mantragora
