houdini1987
Hello everyone, I am trying to create an effect for a project where particle is moving in a tube with constant speed. What I need is to particle gets slow down at crushed cross section (shown by red arrow in image ) and then move ahead at normal speed. Any pointers to achieve this will be helpful. I have attached a reference image to get better understanding. Thanks in advance.
fuat
if you´re using POPs (what i assume), check out "popcurveforce". does exactly what you want. Edited May 21, 2015 by fuat
fuat
another way would be slow down the particles based on their global position. you can do that with VOPs. and a third way (even if there are much more ways to do that i believe) would be to place a box-volume at slow-down-area and adjust the velocity of the particles based on the SDF-values of your volume. hope this helps fuat
