Clothsim cache as static solver (thin surface)

Hi i already have a cached out cloth sim.

 

Now i want it to use as a colider for some flip sim of water drops flowing along with the cloth.

but whats the best way to do this?

The cloth surface is a realy thin surface. I already turned off "Use Voulme Based Collision" but I still get almost no visible collisions.

Whats the best way to get some proper colliosion out of it?

FLIPS calculates best with volume based collision so it is better if you turn it on. The best way probably would be to create a proxy geo based on your cloth output that has some volume and use it as the collision instead. If your sim is simple enough, you could probably even cheat it with sop. Hope that helps :D
