question about VDB from polygons

I have some complex geo that I want to use in a FLIP sim. I am using VDBfrompolygons but it has to cook it out every frame every time I press play. Is there a way to bake this out. I'm still learning Houdini so I'm not too familiar with its caching workflow.

If the geo isn't animating make sure to put down a timeshift and hold a single frame.  Sometimes if you're using an alembic or you have certain nodes houdini will recook the vdb even though there's no change to the geo.
