Hi guys,

I have actually a number of areas of houdini that i require help in.

1) I have this cone spot light that shines onto my object, and i wish to make the rays from the light visible... I have completely no real idea on how to do that... But it would help greatly on my animation.

2) I have this particle system which would be emitted from a sphere, and how can i make it be attracted to a target object (a word)...

Any help on this is greatly appreciated...

Thanks... :D

Try Atmosphere node in object mode for your light.

You can use the litfog shader in shops for the atmosphere object.

Try an attractor POP to get your particles to move to your test, best to get an attractor POP and hit the help to check the very good reference found there. To get help hit the attractor icon in the upper left of the parameters page.
