kev2 Posted November 11, 2015 Share Posted November 11, 2015 With Engine you can hand-off rendering jobs to machines on the local network, i.e., set up your own render farm. You install a free version of Houdini and the Engine license on your second machine. Drop the $HIP file into a shared network folder then open the Houdini terminal on the second machine and tell hbatch to run Mantra. It renders to the shared folder on the network (i.e., $HIP path set in Mantra). I set it up last week on a second Mac. Works great. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
