hatrick
Hey guys, Could you please take a look at the file attached. Just hit render and see the prefracture artefacts on the sphere surface. I try to get a smooth sphere but harsh edges on my cracked, thin shellpieces. I played around with crease weights, cusping edges, seperating points, fourloops for each single peace a.s.o. but i do not get good results. Do i really have to switch between clean geo and prefracturen via keyframes ? Thank you in advance! Cheers, shell_break.hip Edited September 18, 2015 by hatrick
hatrick
Hey, Do you need more info on this? I found a couple of discussions about prefractured geo and rendering issues but no answer to that specific case. I really would appreciate some help. bluciensky
On the 'Render' tap of your geometry, uncheck - Render Polygons As Subdivision (Mantra).
