cwalrus
Hi - in an effort to expedite the simulation process, I was wondering if there was a way to indicate to Houdini which 'section' of a grain source is active at any moment. For example, picture a long flat cube which is a snowy trail for some skis - I only want Houdini to calculate the area through which the skis are traveling at that moment, rather than computing every snow grain on every frame. Is there a way to do this? (Or maybe it's already doing this?) Thanks!
