Can you use Pop grains and animated geo together?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm trying to use Pop Grains with an animated/deforming geo. The point count remains the same, just animation changes. I am trying to use Pop Grains to add another level of deformation to the animated object but am not sure how to go about it? I guess the end result would look like a jiggle/wiggle animation version of the original animated version. Has any else had success with something like this?

I've got a small example scene to help explain it further, would appreciate some help on this as I'm also getting confused with the Pointdeform node and it's correct use/setup.

Thanks
