logix1390
Hey everyone, I have a quick question about particle mass. Basically when I add mass to it using the pop property I don't see any difference when I play it. I created two emitters , each with different mass values, however they both emit at the exact same rate. Shouldn't one go slower than the other with my given values? I attached my file here if someone wants to take a look. I am using Houdini 14. Thank you particle_mass.hip
sekow
implement some (pop) drag and uncheck ignore mass. or delete the gravity force dop and put in a pop force (dont forget to uncheck ignore mass) but I agree: F = m * a a = F/m it should differ. logix1390
Hey thanks for the reply. I tried it out and it works. But Is their a way to fix this mass issue so that I have proper attributes. Seems like adding force to it is just a quick fix. Thanks
