Follyx Posted December 19, 2015 Share Posted December 19, 2015 (edited) I've a trinings DVD from CG Society - Destruction in Houdini. I rebuild a file for further training. Well, its a little complex and I think its done with 14.xxx I rebuilt it with 15.0.313. But its not the same. tiny changes damage the whole result. Are there other algorythms used? ie. Attribwrangles / vopnoise etc. Tried it 4 or 5 times but every time is the same dissaster. And also the deviations are so tiny the end is useless. It is also quite unpredictable (or even uncontrollable) on low substeps, that's why you get completely different results when just touching parameters a little, or using slightly different workflow, or even update Houdini. Just recreate scenes using simpler setups to get a right idea.
